A Quote That Best Describes Me
"Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it or work around it." - Michael Jordan
A Little About Me!
I'm a Redshirt Freshman guard that understands the grind and commitment it takes to succeed as a DIII student athlete. I am looking for a college program that values players who play with heart, have a relentless work ethic, and a high basketball IQ. While I may not be the tallest player on the floor, I have found ways to utilize my skill, basketball IQ, and quickness to my advantage. My greatest strengths are my ability to shoot the three, my defense, and my ability to see the floor.
After undergoing shoulder surgery and 6 months of physical therapy coming out of my senior year of high school, I began my college basketball career at The University of La Verne. Despite starting out slow due to my surgery, I stayed committed to the process and worked my way into the rotation just before the midpoint of the season. While my minutes were limited early on, I stayed focused on making the most of every opportunity by bringing energy on defense, competing hard, and contributing on offense with my three-point shooting. As the season progressed, my role continued to grow, but I was unfortunately sidelined again by a bone bruise in my right knee that ended my freshman season early. Although it wasn’t the start I had envisioned, the adversity strengthened my resilience, work ethic, and commitment to improving every day. As a result of these injuries, I was able to take a redshirt year for the 25/26 season. I view this as a fresh start and an opportunity to come back stronger and ready to make an immediate impact next season.
Academically, my first semester at The University of La Verne was a strong success, and I expect to continue that momentum. I earned a 3.9 GPA for the fall semester and, more importantly, discovered a passion for studying neuroscience. Because La Verne does not offer a strong course offering in this major, I am seeking a university where I can pursue a neuroscience degree, or an institution that offers interdisciplinary biology/psychology classes similar to that of a neuroscience or biopsychology major. I am also looking for a college that has advisors specific to Pre - Medicine, because I have goals of attending medical school post graduation.

This video was made by Phenom America and captures some highlights of my weekend at the invite only, Phenom Girls National Camp.
I am #2 on the white team, I also have a black knee brace on. The opposing team was a state semi finalist last year. I enter the game at 2:50 in the video and stay in until the end. When I come in, we are down by 14 and eventually get back to within 4 points. I hit a 3 pointer at 9:35 in the video to get some good momentum going, then use my playmaking ability, which includes drives to the basket and some great assists, along with some tough defense, to put us in fighting distance at the end. We end up losing the game by 6 points.
I am active in the game from 12:45 - 27:00 and 36:30 through the end of the video. This video is the first half of an away game at Kuna High School I am number 2 in the black jersey, also wearing a black knee brace.
This video is the second half of the video above. I am active in the game from 13:15 - 23:13 in the video and from 24:50 through the end of the video. I hit a big 3 pointer to put us ahead at 25:40 and play good defense against a good opposing ball handler. I help lead my team in a close back and forth game, and we come out with a win in the end.
